Georges Hostache Founded OSTA Consulting in 1986

Georges Hostache has a Bachelor and a Master of Science degrees in Engineering from Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in Paris, France. Georges has been living in Houston for over 25 years. He enjoys snow skiing, sailing, reading, and French and international food.

 

Georges started his career in 1964 with Schlumberger, as a field engineer, in charge of logging and production centers in India, Libya and Texas. Georges joined in 1968 the French management consulting company Eurequip where he was in charge of the energy industry and worked in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. In 1978 he started, as President, Eurequip Consulting Group, the US subsidiary of Eurequip, located in Houston because the majority of the revenues of Eurequip was coming from the oil industry.

 

In 1986 Georges created OSTA Consulting his own management consulting company working for French and American companies in the USA and in France.

 

In 1998 one of his clients, Geoservices SA, a French oil services company, asked him to take over the management, as president, of its activities in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. In 2003 he was then appointed advisor to the Chairman of Geoservices SA in charge of Talent Pool Management and Improvement of Managerial Systems. The goal was to facilitate the aggressive growth of the company and to transform Geoservices into a best in class company.

 

Georges is also Co-Chairman of the Greater Houston Deming Association, as well as Chairman of the French Foreign Trade Advisors for the States of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. The French Government recently conferred upon him the Ordre National du Mérite.
